Lionel Messi, Xherdan Shaqiri, Gonzalo Higuain and Zoltan Gera are among 10 players who have been nominated for UEFA's goal of the season competition.
Messi's goal against Roma in the Champions League group stage makes the list for obvious reasons, as he chipped home after a wonderful, flowing move from Luis Enrique's side.

Xherdan Shaqiri left everyone on their feet at Euro 2016 when his acrobatic equaliser for Switzerland against Poland is another big contender, as is Zoltan Gera's strike for Hungary against Portugal.

Atletico Madrid were the surprise package in this seasons Champions League and a huge part of their journey was midfielder Saul Niguez, who's solo effort against Bayern made the list.
