Juventus' goalkeeper kit for next season has been released, and it looks set to be the final shirt the legendary Gianluigi Buffon will wear for the club.

The Bianconeri released their home kit, which was already accidentally leaked by winger Juan Cuadrado in April, for the 2016/17 campaign yesterday, with it being the first shirt to feature the club's new badge, revealed by Oscar winning songwriter Giorgio Moroder back in January.

And the Turin giants also unveiled the club's goalkeeper shirt for next term.

Adopting the same design and style as other Adidas-represented kits in world football, the shirt is a steel blue, almost teal-like colour and is available to purchase for £79.95 on the official Adidas website.

It looks set to be the final Juventus jersey for the icon that is Gianluigi Buffon.

The 39-year old's contract expires at the end of next season and though the Italy and Juventus skipper has proved that he's still very much got it with his recent performances, his 16-year stint with Juve looks set to come to an end.

Buffon and Juventus lost out 4-1 to Real Madrid in the Champions League in Cardiff last week, the third time he has lost out in the final of the competition, with many deeming it to be the former Parma's man final opportunity to win the most precious prize in club football, the only trophy that has evaded him in his illustrious playing career.

"As far as I am concerned, I have one last chance," Buffon told Sky Sport Italia via ESPN.

"I still have one more year on my contract, so that means I have one more chance of winning the Champions League.

"Admittedly, it'll be tough to do better than this year, because we could've done something truly incredible this season. Unfortunately, we didn't manage it."
"It's a big disappointment because we thought we did everything we needed to win."
