Germany & Bayern's Manuel Neuer Named World's Best Goalkeeper

For the fourth straight year, Germany and Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer has been named The International Federation of Football History & Statistics World's Best Goalkeeper.

The mighty stopper continues to be heralded as the finest between the sticks after another impressive year winning the Bundesliga, DFB Pokal and the German super-cup.

Italian legend Gigi Buffon is runners-up with Euro 2016 winner Rui Patricio in third place. But the online vote makes for some interesting reading;

4. Claudio Bravo - 45 points

5. David de Gea - 37 points

6. Jan Oblak - 31 points

7. Hugo Lloris - 29 points

10. Denis Onyango - 5 points

Petr Cech, Samir Handanovic and Marc Andre Ter Stegen also make the list coming in at 11th, 12th and 13th, respectively.
