Cristiano Ronaldo generously rewarded Greek hotel staff for all of their hard work during his holiday with an incredible tip of €25,000.

The Portuguese superstar, 34, was taking a much-needed rest with his family at Costa Navarino in Greece for the second year running.

According to Spanish publication El Español, the Juventus ace tipped the staff a whopping €25k for their service during his stay.

And Ronaldo splashed out during his time as reports claim that a night at the luxury resort costs €8,000.

El Español also reports that the Portugal captain, who was on holiday along with girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez and eldest son Cristiano Jr, spent around €56,000 on his holiday outing.

Ronaldo visited Costa Navarino last year and tipped the staff £17,850 -- and it looks like they continued to impress him again this year.

The ex-Real Madrid and Manchester United star posted photos on his luxury yacht in the French Riviera as he played with Cristiano Jr, nine, while the 25-year-old Rodríguez watched on.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner ended a superb maiden season in Serie A by helping Juventus win the Scudetto and the Supercoppa Italiana.

And he also continued his fine form over for Portugal as he captained his side to a 1-0 victory over the Netherlands in the Nations League final earlier this month.

New Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri is excited to work with Ronaldo once he returns from holiday.

"I've trained great players over the years, but with Ronaldo I move on to the next level, a player who is at the top of the world," he said at his first press conference as Juventus manager.

"This is a lad with every record in world football and I'd like to help him set another, knowing I contributed to it."

The ex-Chelsea head coach, 60, also admitted that he wants Ronaldo to break the goalscoring Serie A record (36) that Gonzalo Higuaín set in the 2015-16 campaign with Napoli.

"I trained a player with the all-time Serie A record for goals in a single season," the Italian explained.

"I'd like to make that two. It'd be an enormous satisfaction."

Can Ronaldo break Higuaín's goalscoring record next season?
