Gary Neville stayed true to his promise of wearing a Liverpool shirt after losing a bet with Jamie Carragher, but his colleague also had to wear Manchester United colours following a wager three years ago that wasn't followed up on.
Neville, the man who once sprinted across Old Trafford to celebrate in front of thousands of Liverpool fans, said he would wear a Liverpool top live on Sky Sports after losing a forfeit penalty shoot-out to his fellow pundit as part of the Premier League season launch a couple of weeks back.
Carra, who once memorably missed a spot-kick for England against Portugal in the 2006 World Cup quarter final, tucked his away wonderfully to get one over Neville, who had seen his effort saved.

It meant Neville had to sport a cheekily signed 'Shaqiri 23' shirt - that arrangement coming as a result of Neville's past criticism of the Swiss international.
But after bringing up Carragher's prediction that Paulinho would score 15 Premier League goals, he too found himself donning the colours of his rival - with 'Neville 2' on the back to complete the humiliation.
It feels unbelievably weird but a bet is a bet and the duo confirmed they will be auctioning the shirts off and donate the proceeds to charities of their choice.

Fair play, fellas.
