A jubilant Gary Neville led the celebrations following Liverpool's shock Premier League defeat to Watford.

Watford stunned the league leaders with an incredible 3-0 victory at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp's remarkable team failed to beat Arsenal's unbeaten record as they went 44 games without losing until a masterclass performance from Ismaila Sarr, who bagged a brace.

Arsenal breathed a sigh of relief with Manchester United legend Neville also reacting to Liverpool's defeat.

He posted a video on social media, saying: "Just got to Long and they're bottling it again."

Neville continued to rub salt into Liverpool's wounds by posting another video at full-time. He shared a video of himself popping champagne.

Arsenal's official Twitter account also posted a tweet in response to Liverpool's defeat.

Meanwhile, speaking after the game, Klopp congratulated Watford: "The most important thing is congratulations to Watford, well deserved.

"The first half there were football things that didn't work out for us and overall we didn't create enough and that's what leads to a defeat. But it's just one football game and we have to admit that Watford was the better team.

"It was clear that at some time we would lose a game. We didn't wait for it but it was clear that it would happen. it happened. I see it rather positive. Because from now on we can play free football again. We don't have to defend or try to get the record we just can try to win football games again."

Liverpool, of course, are still a massive 22 points clear at the top of the league table with just 10 games left of the term.
