After weeks and weeks of anticipation, EA Sports have finally released the official trailer for FIFA 18 featuring cover star Cristiano Ronaldo.

The trailer shows game engine footage of Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo taking one of his trademark free-kicks against Chelsea after being hacked down by defender David Luiz.

So realistic.

We see Cristiano scoring the free-kick (not realistic), to then perform his trademark 'Right Here, Right Now' celebration.

Here's the official trailer that was dropped at 4pm UK time:

The four-time Ballon d'Or winner has never been on the cover of the game prior this game, and the move continues his run as a marketing machine by becoming the face of the FIFA franchise as well as a global ambassador.

Speaking about becoming the cover star for the most popular football game in the world for the first time in his career, the 32-year old said:

"It is a real pleasure to be on the cover of FIFA 18, It's a great feeling and I am grateful to have been chosen."
