FIFA Gamer Who Rage-Quit After 20 Minutes Receives "The Nicest Response Ever" From Opponent

FIFA Gamer Who Rage-Quit After 20 Minutes Receives "The Nicest Response Ever" From Opponent

A FUT gamer who expected another "toxic message" after rage-quitting a division rivals match was pleasantly surprised by his opponent's heartwarming response.

Nestori, a 16-year-old gamer from Finland, said he quit in the 20th minute after conceding a penalty.

The opponent scored from the spot to make it 1-0 but rather than carry on, he backed out and recorded a loss on his Ultimate Team record.

Expecting a negative response from the German opponent, Nestori eventually received a message but to his surprise, there was some helpful advice attached.

The opponent took time out of his day to create a number of concept squads to help the Finnish gamer out.

"He started the conversation with "Seriously?" so I just replied with "?" getting prepared for another toxic message." he told SPORTbible.

"But then we started talking about our teams and he sent me his concept squads. It's the nicest message I've received whilst playing FIFA."

Nestori, who admits he's "embarrassed" to play with seven icons as a division eight player, said in the message that he "doesn't know how to play" with his team.

But it appears the concept squad has worked. "It just shows there are some good people in the community," he says.

"I haven't really grinded that much but I've gotten really lucky with my packs."

Many on social media praised the response from Nestori's opponent as people shared stories of negative message's they've received in the past.

"Wholesome content. I rage quit the other day and received voice messages calling me a bitch and to get good." said one Reddit user.

While another said: "I lost a game and the person told me to quit FIFA and go play Minecraft. He called me a loser too."

It's great to see such positive acts in the, at times, negative FIFA community.
