Rumours Suggest EA Are Planning To Scrap Ultimate Team Fitness Cards In FIFA 21

A FIFA 21 leak has suggested EA Sports will scrap fitness cards in the popular game mode Ultimate Team.

In years gone by gamers have become increasingly frustrated with certain 'add-ons' within the game mode. In a generic Ultimate Team pack, these can include position swap cards, player contracts and training boosts.

But rumours have now emerged that EA will strip the 'fitness card' feature within Ultimate Team in the upcoming release, with a leak being shared on Reddit also claiming that a "set amount of games" will be set on a weekly basis for Division Rivals.

EA have already stripped the fitness aspect from NHL 'HUT' mode and Madden's Ultimate Team, so it would make sense to remove these, at times, frustrating fitness rules from FIFA.

Gaming website Dexetro understands if these major changes are implemented, the swap would come into effect when FIFA 21 is released in October.

Of course, that means FIFA 20 would not be affected by these planned changes.

In other FIFA-21 related news, it appears the infamous 'shush' celebration will not feature in the upcoming release.

In previous editions of the game people have been able to trigger the manual celebration by holding the right thumbstick right or left.

But after a screenshot from the upcoming release emerged online, EA appear to have removed it from the title - a relief to those who have thrown their controllers in rage following the trolling gesture.

Twitter user @todoUT posted the original image from the FIFA 21 menus and well, it went down a hit with most of the community.

EA have also added Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland's iconic moves to FIFA 21.

Every year EA introduce new celebrations, with Dele Alli's viral challenge, Mo Salah's 'Yoga' and Roberto Firmino's 'Eye Patch' celebration all included last year.

And this time around, as seen in the reveal trailer that dropped on Thursday, cover star Mbappe's 'cry-baby celebration is in the mix, as well as Haaland's sitting-down 'Zen' meditation.

Thoughts on the new features?
