One Of World's Most In-Form Players Is Not Included In FIFA 18's Team Of The Year Shortlist

On Monday afternoon, EA Sports revealed the 55 nominees for the FIFA 18 Team of the Year.

The TOTY squad, which will be formed of three attacking players, three midfielders, four defenders and one goalkeeper in a 4-3-3 formation, has been a hot topic of debate in the past 24 hours.

Salah, who is currently the Premier League's second top scorer with 17 goals, netted 36 goals in 2017 during spells at Roma and Liverpool.

The Egyptian was even awarded the African Footballer Of The Year award in 2017 because of his performances for club and country.

But it seems that wasn't quite enough to be included.

Just days after he was awarded that African Footballer of the Year award, Liverpool winger and goal machine Salah was given one of the most overpowered FIFA cards in recent memory.

The card was discovered in FUT concepts by a number of users and images soon emerged online, with the internet going mad for this magnificent beast.

Salah's stats are something to behold - 96 pace, 92 dribbling and 87 shooting will break plenty of controllers in the coming weeks, but the fact that he has a 88-rated Striker card will be a huge plus for gamers.
