Are you tired of hearing Martin Tyler compliment Alan Smith on his heading ability? Do you want to hear another commentator in the next series of FIFA? Then stop what you are doing.

EA Sports have finally announced that they will bring in two new commentators for the upcoming release of FIFA 19.

It is expected that Tyler and Smith will still feature on the game, but executive producer Aaron McHardy has revealed that former Arsenal defender Lee Dixon will make an appearance in the new release.

It has also been confirmed that legendary BT Sport commentator Derek Rae will be brought in to cover the Champions League games.

"One of the most exciting pieces that truly provides a new experience for players is the new commentary talent in Derek Rae and Lee Dixon," McHardy said in an interview with GOAL.

"We're bringing in new commentators who will feature across the game for all the UEFA experiences - another piece of the puzzle that really makes that experience feel new and different and immersive."

FIFA 19 already looks pretty stacked and EA Sports are racking up the licences ahead of the worldwide launch, with the following trailer giving us a real idea of how the game will play out come September.

For the first time ever, the Champions League and Europa League will be coming to the FIFA franchise.

In addition to that, it's also been officially confirmed that Borussia Dortmund's exclusive deal with Pro Evolution Soccer has been ended prematurely, giving EA the ability to bring BVB's Signal Iduna Park back into the equation for FIFA 19.

In the third bit of recent licensing news, Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, via Calcio Finanza, are saying EA have been able to obtain the official license for Serie A, Serie B and Coppa Italia after a couple of years without it.

It's certainly an exciting time to be a FIFA fan, right now.
