Andrea Pirlo Has Been Given 'End Of Era' FIFA Card And It's Ridiculously Good

WOW. JUST WOW.

Earlier this year, the great Andrea Pirlo announced that he would retire at the end of the season and it left millions of football fans in a state of shock and emotion for days.

715 games, 116 Italy caps and 18 trophies later, the former Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan midfielder has come a long way since making his Serie A debut for Brescia against Reggiana in May, 1996, but his playing days are over.

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pirlo admitted that "the time has come" - he will retire when the MLS season finishes in December:

"You realise that the time has come. Every day you have physical problems, you cannot train as you want because you always have some problem. At my age, that's enough. It's not that you can go on forever until the age of 50. I'll do something else.

"At 38, it's just right to give young players room. I'm not angry. Instead, I will give a hand to team-mates and to the coach."

To celebrate his retirement, EA Sports have only gone and handed Pirlo a ridiculous 91-rated SBC, which has been labelled the 'End of Era' card.

With 99 passing and 89 dribbling, as well as plenty of other incredible stats, the Italian has deservedly been given one of the best FIFA cards in recent memory - a testament to his longevity and success during his time at Juventus, Inter and AC Milan, among others.

JUST LOOK AT IT:

Now that is a naughty FIFA card.
