Lad Simulates The 2018 World Cup 100 Times On Football Manager And England Actually Won It More Than Once

UNBELIEVABLE SCENES!

Try and imagine a world where England actually won the World Cup this year.

Bet your brain is starting to hurt, right? Yes, it's basically impossible to fathom it ever happening in real-life. However, as one vlogger found out, England just might be in with a shot at winning this year's World Cup in virtual reality.

Youtube blogger and Football Manager experimentalist GoldenFM ran a simulation on this year's World Cup 100 times on Football Manager 2018 - and the results are surprising, to say the least.

The simulation covered pretty much everything from Golden Boot winner, best player in the tournament on average, all the way to the number of teams that came third and fourth place in the tournament. I'm sure you'll agree, that's nothing short of extensive.

After running it through 100 times, England did unbelievably win this year's World Cup.

In fact, Gareth Southgate's men won it four times, level with Croatia and Portugal.

Belgium came out on top with 22 World Cup wins, while France, Brazil and Spain followed behind, on 17, 15, 10 wins respectively.

Considering the amount of brilliance brimming insides other countries, and with England supporters still arguing about whether Joe Hart or Burnley's Nick Pope should be included in the squad, four wins is pretty good going.

And it gets even better, as striker Harry Kane wins the Golden Boot an astounding ten times, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Eden Hazard coming second with eight wins apiece.

Hazard's name in prominent again in the list of the amount of Best Player of the tournament wins, achieving this award a crazy 22 times across the 100 simulations, rounding a clearly very special World Cup in Russia for the Belgians.

Seemingly falling disappointingly short, last tournament's runners-up and winners, Argentina and Germany only just pip England's wins with seven and six. It looks like the Lionel Messi factor won't come into play at year's tournament.

So England does have a chance at winning the revered competition in a digitalised world that's not our own, but yet again, so too does Serbia, Poland, Mexico, Russia and Denmark.

We're sad to report that this simulation has done nothing special to convince England fans about their chances this summer, GoldenFM.
