Real Madrid star Eden Hazard and Manchester United player Jesse Lingard are amongst the footballers predicted to receive major downgrades in FIFA 21.

Publisher EA Sports shared the first look at the eagerly awaited title earlier this month at EA Play Live.

And now Dexerto has selected a handful of players who could see their overalls drop in the fan-favourite Ultimate Team mode.

Hazard, who was one of the cover stars for FIFA 20, has experienced a lacklustre season with Real Madrid since joining from Chelsea last summer.

Dexerto believes that the 29-year-old Belgian winger could fall from his 91 overall in FIFA 20 to an 88 rating in FIFA 21.

The publication added that 'he's fallen behind at Real Madrid' and Hazard 'needs to work hard to get back to being considered one of the world's best forwards.'

Lingard has been heavily criticised by fans and pundits and has been linked with an exit from Old Trafford at the end of the season.

Dexerto says the 27-year-old England international has been 'some way off the mark this campaign' and suggested he could drop from an 82 overall to 78.

Posted below are Dexerto's predictions for six players who could receive downgrades in FIFA 21.

EA Sports has confirmed that FIFA 21 will launch worldwide on 9th October for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The publisher confirmed that PS4 or Xbox One users who pick up FIFA 21 would respectively be able to upgrade for free to PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.
