EA Sports announced the FIFA Ultimate Team ratings refresh last night and one of the biggest beneficiaries is Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

The Belgian has been outstanding for Pep Guardiola's runaway leaders and looks set to win the PFA Player of the Year award, having scored seven goals and delivered a stunning 14 assists in the Premier League.

EA Sports simply had to take notice and they gave the Genk youth product a two-rating increase to take his basic rating to 91, completing quite the rise on FIFA Ultimate Team for a player who was a 64-rated bronze card on FIFA 10.

But that's not all though, as De Bruyne has also seen a eagerly-anticipated change in one of his statistics - that being he now possesses five-star weak foot.

The change is long overdue, with the 26-year old's weaker left peg better than most players strongest foot.

He scored bangers against Chelsea and Leicester with his left foot and now players will have a better chance of replicating those heroics on the game thanks to the adjustment from the head honchos at EA.

As you'll see in the list here, several other lesser-known players have been upgraded to five-star weak foot but De Bruyne well and truly leads the pack.

In terms of Premier League players and their overall ratings, here are the main ratings refreshes to have taken place:

Further down the ratings are where the real improvements can be found: Burnley's James Tarkowski, Stoke's Moritz Bauer, Crystal Palace's Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin all going up by five marks.

West Brom's Ahmed Hegazi and Burnley's Nick Pope are the highest rises, with both going up seven ratings points from 68 to 75.
