Franck Ribery has finally been given a proper gameface by EA Sports after complaining about how he looked on FIFA 20.

The Frenchman, who moved to Fiorentina in the summer, had an utterly atrocious likeness on the game and vented his frustrations on Twitter after playing FIFA with his kids.

It's taken a couple of weeks but the former Bayern Munich winger has been granted his wish, with EA unveiling a new face that Ribery should be pretty pleased with.

"Hey @FranckRibery, your Transfer Certificate is finally in. Violet looks good on you #WeKnowHimBetter #FIFA20," they wrote on social media.

The latter part of the tweet would appear to be a subtle dig at football gaming rivals Konami, after they tried to use EA's previous mishap to try and get some exposure themselves by showing Ribery how good his likeness is on their game.

Ribery is one of 37 players who will be receiving a new face in an upcoming update, with Joao Felix, Thibaut Courtois and Marcelo among those to have had new scans.

The 36-year old's stint in Florence has been a mixed bag thus far. Ribery rolled back the years with a stunning performance in a 3-1 win over AC Milan at the San Siro in September but he is now facing a suspension after shoving a linesman following the game against Lazio this past weekend.
