Gabriel Jesus has posted an update on his nasty-looking injury suffered against Crystal Palace.
In the first half of the 0-0 draw at Selhurst Park, the Brazil No.9 went down after twisting his left knee awkwardly when stretching for the ball.
He attempted to play on but only made things worse and was forced off after just over 20 minutes, with the former Palmeiras starlet flooded with tears as he left the pitch.
Although Jesus was able to walk off the pitch and didn't require a stretcher, it certainly didn't look promising. However, the 20-year old took to Instagram to play down the severity of his injury.
Explaining medical examinations found he had suffered a "small medial colateral ligament injury" to his left knee, he stressed there is no need for surgery and promises to be back as soon as possible.

Jesus' post is in line with the update Manchester City posted on their official website. Pep Guardiola estimated Jesus would be out for "a little more than a month" in his post-match press conference but there will be no official time-frame given as of yet.
It would appear to be less serious than first feared though, and we hope to see Jesus back in action very soon.
