Arsenal star Gabriel was involved in a terrifying ordeal with a baseball bat-wielding thug who tried to rob him at his home in London.
Two robbers followed Gabriel home after a night out and demanded his car keys, mobile phone and watch as he got out of his Mercedes, according to the Daily Mail.
One of the attackers, Abderaham Muse, then rushed at the footballer with the bat, but the Brazilian defended himself by striking him in the face.

Gabriel continued to fight off the robber, wrestling with him before grabbing his hat until Abderaham escaped from his grasp and ran off.
The 26-year-old mugger was jailed for five years last month after police linked him to the robbery in August through DNA from the hat that had fallen off during the exchange.
CCTV footage played in court shows the moment Gabriel fought off the robber who threatened him with a baseball bat.
Martin Lewis, prosecuting. told Harrow Crown Court: "No injuries were suffered but a great deal of shock was caused.

"They happened to pick on two victims who were very fit and able to look after themselves."
Thankfully, Gabriel avoided any serious injuries and could keep his place in the starting XI when the Gunners resume their Premier League campaign at Manchester United on Thursday.
The incident involving Gabriel is not the first time an Arsenal player has taken on robbers.
