You don't normally get players celebrating scoring a penalty in a shoot-out by dancing when the game is basically a friendly, but Yerry Mina decided to do just that last night.

The 23-year-old defender signed from Palmeiras for a reported fee of €11.8 million and has made two competitive appearances for the club.

He was given his third outing in Blaugrana colours in the Catalan Super Cup against Espanyol last night and scored his spot-kick in the 4-2 penalty shoot-out win, after the game finished 0-0.

The victory may not have had too much significance compared to other upcoming games for the club, but the Colombian defender enjoyed himself after dispatching from 12 yards and decided to perform his infamous dancing celebration for the first time in a Barca shirt.

Some serious shapes! He may have looked like your 'Uncle Knobhead' dancing at a wedding but the "shimmy shake" is actually his forte, as he's proved whenever he's found the net in the past:

Barca fans have been waiting a long time to see him busting some moves and were not left disappointed last night. Here's some of the reaction on social media:

Explaining why he celebration in such a manner to MARCA after the game, he said:

"I always try to be happy, to show the happiness I have inside and to transmit it to those around me, I am happy on a personal level and also because the team played a great match.

"I had already said to my family that I was going to enjoy my first goal."

Mina is all about tradition, so much so that when he stepped on the Nou Camp turf for the first time, he took off his socks and shoes and said, "Touch the land you want to conquer with the sole of your feet" is the saying he carries with him from his country.
