Los Angeles Football Club played their first home game of the season on Sunday night in their new $350 million Banc of California Stadium.
It was an evening to remember for Bob Bradley's side. Laurent Ciman scored a free-kick in stoppage time to send 22,000 fans into meltdown as the club, who were founded in 2014, sealed a historic victory against Seattle Sounders.
With all of the above in mind, though, a couple of moments involving US actor and all round top bloke, Will Ferrell, stole the show.

Ferrell appeared as a special guest on FOX Sports to read out the Los Angeles team news before kick-off and I think it's fair to say that Anchorman's very own Ron Burgundy would have been proud.
Take it away, Ron. I mean, Will.

Not long after he entertained those watching from home, Ferrell walked out a trained falcon to christen the Banc of California Stadium of its falcon virginity, I guess. It was all a little bizarre.
But somehow he manages to pull it off, despite the bird being perched on his arm for an uncomfortable amount of time.

Only Anchorman himself could get away with this, as more than 20,000 people watched on wondering what the actual f*ck was going on.
Will Ferrell is currently holding a falcon to kick off the start of this game while the supporters section chants the falcon's name. Just in case anyone is wondering how damn ridicilous this home opener is right now.

After the game, LA coach Bob Bradley described the scene, saying it was one of the most incredible things he's experienced.
"I've been lucky enough to see a lot of amazing places around the world. But the feeling inside that stadium today was incredible. "Maybe somebody was looking down on us."
Maybe it was that stray falcon, Bob.
