Jadon Sancho's £8 million move to Borussia Dortmund was certainly unexpected.

The 17-year-old decided to turn down a hefty £30,000 a-week contract at the Etihad to live a 'dream come true' in the Bundesliga, and since joining in the summer, Sancho has made a huge impression under Lucien Favre.

In fact, the former Manchester City winger has earned himself an England call-up this week after a number of impressive performances of late.

So far, so good for the talented youngster. He's already been given a taste of what could be at the Westfalenstadion and he's clearly relishing the challenge of taking the famous number 7 shirt.

The youngster has now registered six assists in 245 minutes this season following his heroics in the Champions League against Monaco.

Yes, he's made a big impression on those in the stands, but it has emerged that his Dortmund teammates have expressed a concern about his game.

The 17-year-old has admitted that he has been told to stop nutmegging players in training after his Bundesliga teammates became frustrated with his constant skills and trickery.

In fact, he revealed that at his former club, defender Vincent Kompany warned him to stop embarrassing him in training.

"I nutmegged the captains of Dortmund (Marcel Schmelzer) and City (Vincent Kompany) and they said "don't do that again". They don't like it." he revealed in an interview with JD Sports.

"I was always skillful as a youngster but now I don't do skills as much because the game has got quicker and it's more serious.

"Getting my first league call-up was a big opportunity. I just wanted to express myself. I'm more mature now, I know when to release the ball. I'm not greedy but I just want to show what I can do."

You can just imagine a fuming Kompany growing frustrated after Sancho nutmegs him for the 18th time.

Sancho notched his first assist for the Bundesliga side against Hertha Berlin in January and since then, he has registered an assist every 41 minutes.
