West Ham Stewards Are Wearing Goggles And Football Boots Today
After the chaos that descended during the 3-0 defeat to Burnley at the London Stadium just before the international break, West Ham needed to ensure security presence was at an absolute maximum to ensure a similar turn of events does not happen during their game against Southampton today.
Their genius idea? To make sure all the stewards were decked out in goggles and football boots.
At the time of the writing, West Ham's home ground is a much happier place because the Hammers are 3-0 up against Saints.
And with their stewards looking like they are prepared for science and PE lessons at the same time, obviously nobody in the right mind is going to step out of line today.
Never did I think I'd see stewards dressed as though they were partaking in Bunsen burner experiments and inter-form football at the same time but it seems that's the current situation at West Ham.
Naturally, there have been some hilarious reactions on social media. Here are just a few:
No fan will surely dare try and enter the field of play today because the boys in fluorescent, wearing their Adidas Predators and Nike CTR 360's, will be onto them in a flash.
Here's hoping every football club in the league make their stewards wear safety glasses and football boots from now on...
