After the chaos that descended during the 3-0 defeat to Burnley at the London Stadium just before the international break, West Ham needed to ensure security presence was at an absolute maximum to ensure a similar turn of events does not happen during their game against Southampton today.
Their genius idea? To make sure all the stewards were decked out in goggles and football boots.
At the time of the writing, West Ham's home ground is a much happier place because the Hammers are 3-0 up against Saints.

And with their stewards looking like they are prepared for science and PE lessons at the same time, obviously nobody in the right mind is going to step out of line today.
Never did I think I'd see stewards dressed as though they were partaking in Bunsen burner experiments and inter-form football at the same time but it seems that's the current situation at West Ham.
