The celebrations in Portugal following the national team's Euro 2016 success will likely continue long into this week but for Benni McCarthy, there may be no energy left to celebrate after the South African lost his mind on TV following Eder's extra-time winning goal.
McCarthy, who spent four years in Portugal with Porto, where he won two Portuguese league titles, a Portuguese Cup and a Champions League under Jose Mourinho, was backing Cristiano Ronaldo and co during the Euro 2016 final against France, last night and promptly lost his mind when Eder slammed his winning goal into the bottom corner, in the 109th minute.

Did he even have the energy to celebrate again at the final whistle?
