Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has responded to a fan on Twitter who called him "so overrated".

Kroos, who is well-known for his amazing trophy haul throughout the years, is seen as one of the best midfielders of a generation.

Winning a World Cup, four UEFA Champions League titles, La Liga, and the Bundesliga, Kroos has won every single team trophy he could have won, besides a European Championship.

However, even though his incredible passing and assist numbers for a deep-midfielder speak for themselves, some fans think that the German must be overrated.

The midfielder was called overrated by a fan on Twitter earlier today, responding to Real Madrid's English Twitter page calling Kroos a 'midfield maestro' next to his Real Madrid teammates Luka Modric and Casemiro.

Although some players can take criticism to heart, Kroos instead joked about it in his response, agreeing with the fan that he was overrated but not to tell anybody.

The Real Madrid midfielder has 26 titles to his name including two La Liga titles, three Bundesliga titles, and five World Club Cup titles.

The German has been an integral part of the team that has gone on to win the La Liga title this season. Only Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets have attempted more passes than the German in Spain's top tier this campaign, but the Real Madrid midfielder has better accuracy.

Kroos has completed 2,184 of his 2,336 passes, giving him a passing accuracy of 93.49%, which is ahead of Pique's 91.75% and Busquets' 89.66%.

He has proved a lot of doubters wrong this season after his contract renewal until 2023 in May 2019 caused a lot of criticism from fans.
