If you didn't sing 'Will Grigg's On Fire' during the European Championships in 2016, then there's something seriously wrong. It was the catchiest tune of the decade and nobody can tell me differently
18 months after Gala's 1996 hit 'Freed from Desire' swept the nation, these memorable lyrics were heard from the terraces once again when his 79th minute strike found the back of the net.
Grigg's historic goal in the dying embers of the game sent Wigan to the quarter finals of the FA Cup, while a Russian commentator couldn't contain his excitement and joined in with the rest of us by singing the tune.

"WILL GRIGG'S ON FIRE, YOUR DEFENCE IS TERRIFIED!"
Away from the final result, it was a night full of drama both on and off the pitch. Sergio Aguero's actions during the post-match pitch invasion grabbed the headlines while Pep Guardiola's tunnel outburst gave us plenty to talk about at half-time.
But while all of the controversy clouded the eventual result, many didn't spot what the League One side did at full-time.
Just seconds after referee Anthony Taylor blew his whistle, Wigan's PA announcer read out the result and then played Manchester City's dressing room song, Oasis - Wonderwall.

As you can see in the footage below, the PA system blasted out the tune moments after the game had ended:
At the end of the day, though, League One side Wigan Athletic overcome the odds to beat Premier League leaders Manchester City and it will go down as one of the biggest upsets in FA Cup history.
A huge congratulations to Paul Cook and his side.
