Jeff Stelling will step down as host of Gilette Soccer Saturday at the end of the season after 25 incredible years in front of our screens - and it got us thinking about his priceless rant about the north of England.
The 66-year-old announced the news on Saturday afternoon's show.
He said: "I have come to the incredibly difficult decision that this will be my last season. This is my decision - there has been no pressure. Sky have been absolutely brilliant with me, as they always have been.

"I am not intending to retire but it is time to let somebody else have a go at what is the best job in the world."
The man who has carried Soccer Saturday for so many years produced so many memorable moments but perhaps a certain rant in 2007 will go down as his greatest.
On the same week when Middlesbrough was voted the worst place to live in England - a statistic that Hartlepool-born Stelling was far from happy with - it all kicked off in the studio.

Is this one of the best rants ever seen on live television? You decide. Take it away, Jeff.
Another iconic moment involving Stelling came three years later. On 3 April 2010, the presenter went to reporter Chris Kamara for his update on Portsmouth vs Blackburn and well, he completely missed Anthony Vanden Borre's second yellow and subsequent dismissal.

Here is that moment.
