Arsenal Fan Meets 'Lifelong Hero' Arsene Wenger But Moment Is Ruined By Girlfriend

An Arsenal fan was left gutted after meeting his 'lifelong hero' Arsene Wenger only for his photo to be ruined by his girlfriend's snapchat filter.

Gooners fan Stewart Russell bumped into the 67-year-old at an event for the London Fire Relief Fund.

As any normal supporter would do, he asked for a photo with the Arsenal boss as he gazed lovingly into his eyes.

But, as most guys with girlfriends will know, they can be pretty unreliable when it comes to taking a snap due to their love of Snapchat filters.

It's almost like every photo you see nowadays is of a dog, cat or bear.

But in Wenger's case, he was turned into a bunny rabbit by Stewart's girlfriend:

Stewart's girlfriend then chipped in with her own response:

Wenger may be hopping mad (we know you liked that one) ahead of this weekend's Premier League opener after it was announced that Alexis Sanchez would be injured for the FA Cup winners' first two matches against Leicester and Stoke.

Arsenal fans weren't buying it though, with most believing the Chile international is trying to force a move away.

If you're wondering if Stewart got his selfie with Arsene...

Brilliant.
