Steven Gerrard Hilariously Reveals Alfredo Morelos Was Dancing Topless To Sweet Caroline After Scoring Winner
Steven Gerrard revealed that Alfredo Morelos was dancing topless to Sweet Caroline after he scored the winner for Rangers against Livingston.
Morelos scored late in the second half at the Tony Macaroni Arena on Wednesday as Rangers edged a step closer to lifting the Scottish Premiership title.
However, the 24-year-old Colombian striker was booked in the first half by referee John Beaton for simulation after he initially appeared to have been clipped by Max Stryjek.
Rangers boss Gerrard was furious over the incident and confronted match officials, only to be shown a card and sent to the stand for his protestations.
But the Liverpool legend dismissed the idea that Morelos was getting a reputation unfairly as he hilariously revealed how the Rangers striker had been celebrating.
Gerrard told Sky Sports: "Don't worry about Alfredo, he has just scored the winner and is in there dancing around with no top on to Sweet Caroline. He's fine."
When he was asked about the playlist for the bus ride back to Glasgow, Gerrard said: "I don't know. We don't usually put the tunes on, we just have some food and get ourselves home.

"But I do like Sweet Caroline after a win."
Gerrard also voiced his frustrations towards Beaton and his officials for making the same mistakes, saying it is "bang out of order."
He explained: "It's 100 per cent a penalty. I'm someone who wants to support officials as much as I can because I realise how hard the job is.
"I'll go with one of the officials making a mistake, a genuine mistake -- but I can't have three making the same mistake.
"John Beaton's looking at it clearly, the linesman's looking at it clearly and the fourth official's looking at it clearly.
"I've got the worse view out of everyone and I can see it clearly.
"I'll go with one mistake and I'll keep trying to do everything I can to support officials but I can't have it when three make the same mistake.
"It's bang out of order."
Rangers will continue their title-challenging season on Saturday as they welcome St Mirren to the Ibrox.
