Simone Zaza Produced The Greatest Bit Of Sh*thousery Last Night

Simone Zaza Produced The Greatest Bit Of Sh*thousery Last Night

He went to incredible lengths to try and get a Sevilla player sent off.

I've written a lot about shocking dives in football and branded a lot of them as "the worst I have ever seen". But if anyone manages to top what Simone Zaza did for Valencia against Sevilla yesterday then I'd be very surprised.

The Italian striker, who has scored 11 goals for Marcelino's men, literally tried to headbutt a Sevilla player's elbow in an attempt to make it look as though he had been elbowed in the face.

During the 2-0 away win, Zaza was chasing down Franco Vazquez and then made the decision to put his head in close to the Argentine's elbow, going to outrageous heights in order to try and con the referee.

Twitter exploded with reaction to the incredible antics of the former West Ham man, with Bayern Munich defender Mats Hummels getting involved.

It's an absolute shoo-in for 'dive of the season' and we've still got a couple months of the season left.

Stick to shite penalty run-ups and misses, Simone.
