Juventus defender Daniele Rugani has had to find a way to stop Cristiano Ronaldo scoring in training.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has been getting rave reviews in Bianconeri sessions after joining up with the squad following his stunning £99.6 million switch from Real Madrid.

Ronaldo, who scored a staggering 450 goals for Los Blancos, is undoubtedly one of the most difficult players in world football to stop. And so when a goalscoring opportunity came about for the Portugal skipper in a small-sided Juve game, 24-year old centre-back Rugani didn't fancy diving in for a tackle after CR7 teased him.

Instead, he decided to cheekily move the small goal away so Ronaldo couldn't score the tap-in.

Genius defending really! And you can't blame Rugani given what Douglas Costa has been saying about Ronaldo in training.

At the age of 33, the former Manchester United man is still striving for improvement.

"It is impossible to follow Cristiano Ronaldo in training. When we arrive, he is already training, when we leave he is still training, I have never seen a player like that," he said.

Ronaldo did make a rare mistake in training the other day though in a game of football tennis against Costa and Paulo Dybala - prompting the pair to do the 'Take the L' Fortnite dance to celebrate their victory.

If you listen closely, it even sounds like they shout "SIIII" while celebrating.
