TheSPORTbible wasn't around when Eden Hazard kicked a ball boy back in 2013, but we can still remember the bizarre aftermath that followed.

Although it isn't exactly a huge feat, Charlie Morgan created one of the most memorable moments in Capital One cup history as Chelsea crashed out of the competition in the most unconventional way possible.

Charlie Morgan's Twitter profile went absolutely crazy. His following increased by approximately 15,000 per cent to over 80,000 followers after he literally fell on a ball. Twitter even verified the lad after Eden Hazard proceeded to kick him. Morgan had become an internet celebrity after a few seconds in the spotlight, but there was a story behind the incident.

Morgan was the son of Swansea City's biggest shareholders, Martin Morgan and his wife, Luisa. They were said to be worth £42 million in 2008 and the couple owned 22.5 per cent of the Premier League club. Just hours before the episode, Charlie had been called.up as a standby after another boy was unable to attend the game. It was his time to shine and the youngster posted on Twitter to celebrate.

Nobody thought anything of his seemingly harmless tweet. In fact, Morgan's Twitter followers probably questioned the moment he said: "The king of all ball boys is back making his final appearance #needed #for #timewasting" on the evening of Swansea vs Chelsea but things were about to escalate.

And fast.

The image of Charlie Morgan rolling around clutching his ribs is still clear to this day.

I remember watching the analysis on the television as Glenn Hoddle tried to explain the situation. A teenager had just aggravated Eden Hazard to the point of getting sent off. Chelsea were out of the Capital One cup and pundits were actually discussing this utterly bizarre situation. It didn't feel real and I'm sure Charlie Morgan would agree.

He trended worldwide as reports came through that Hazard had apologised to Morgan. The ballboy then confirmed that he would not press charges against Hazard.

On the 23rd January, 2017, Charlie Morgan may have lost 40,000 followers on Twitter, but his legacy still lives on.

Charlie Morgan said that those 24 hours on that memorable day in January had been a 'crazy' time for him.

And the winner of the most understated quote in history goes to...
