If you happened to receive the latest Liverpool calendar for Christmas then you might want to skip January, February and quite possibly even March.
The club's official calendar decided to hand Philippe Coutinho the month of January and as we all know, the Brazilian completed his long awaited £142 million transfer to Barcelona earlier this month.
Then in a quite frankly unlucky set of circumstances, the club made Daniel Sturridge, who completed a loan move to West Brom on Monday evening, the face of February.

Emre Can, who is reportedly set to join Juventus in the summer transfer window, is also the face of March and thousands of Liverpool fans are cursing their luck.
How did this manage to happen?

To be fair, Liverpool fans who bought this season's shirt with Philippe Coutinho's name and number were given compensation after the Brazilian completed a move to the Camp Nou.

Any fans who purchased a 2017/18 home, away or third shirt with 'Coutinho 10' on the back from the official LFC website or club stores across the UK and Ireland were entitled to a £50 voucher.
Fans could spend the voucher on whatever items they choose, including a new shirt with a different name and number.
Those who bought their shirt from an official club shop will receive the voucher upon the presentation of the shirt, along with proof of purchase.

Any Liverpool supporters who purchased it online through the LFC store will receive an email containing the voucher, on 13 January, and it can then be redeemed via the online website.
Liverpool - what could have been...
The voucher, which is non-refundable and non-transferable, must be used before 31 May, the date by which it expires - and fans should double check the terms and conditions on the Liverpool website for further details.
Oh dear.
