Malcom Just Had To Score On His Debut Against Roma, Days After Rejecting Them

Malcom Just Had To Score On His Debut Against Roma, Days After Rejecting Them

Barcelona managed to snatch Bordeaux winger Malcom from under the noses of Roma for around £36 million, last week, just 24 hours after he looked certain to move to Italy.

Let's give this story some background. It was reported that the Brazilian would join Roma, just months after Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester United were all linked, but at the 11th hour, the move fell through.

Barcelona put in a competing bid for him and, after bidding more than Roma, he signed on the dotted line for the Spanish giants.

Last night, the 21-year-old made his debut for Barca in a pre-season friendly against, you guessed it, AS Roma and well, the outcome was inevitable.

Malcom managed to find the scoresheet with a simple tap-in to make it 2-1 and Roma's official Twitter account, who are known to produce the most amazing chat going, posted the perfect response minutes later.

Fair play, lads.
