Two months ago, we witnessed one of the greatest Twitter beefs of all time.
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher and Leicester City full-back Danny Simpson feuded in tremendous fashion, exchanging blows about Premier League medals, wives and ear rings.
Things got very personal.
The war of words went viral and things got out of hand.

Both men apologised after the spat, with Carragher saying that 'a line was crossed' and Simpson tweeting: "Yeah apologies mate, was only supposed to be a bit of banter."
Since that infamous Twitter exchange in May this year, nothing has really emerged from their previous beef - until now.
As both Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville picked their fantasy football XI for @SkyFantasyFooty, Simpson's name cropped up in conversation once again.

Neville suggested that his colleague bring in the Leicester City defender and Carragher laughed, but took his advice on board:
24 hours later, Simpson has responded to Carragher's decision to include him in fine fashion. It's nice to see the pair getting on...

"Good team that lads. I always knew deep down he liked me lol"
So how did the Carragher-Simpson beef come about?
Carragher was critical of the Leicester City players after their 3-1 win over Liverpool in their first game following the sacking of Ranieri back in February, and that prompted a response from Simpson.
Then came Carragher - making another reference to the change in performance from the Leicester players just days after their manager had been cruelly sacked
Simpson came back with the following Tweet
And then came another Carragher response - which we thought was surprisingly tame for his standards
The Twitter exchange continued throughout the day, with plenty of good shots from both men. Months later though, it seems Simpson and Carragher are on better terms.
