When Blake Harrison From 'The Inbetweeners' Left Soccer Aid Viewers In Stitches

It was one of the most entertaining Soccer Aid moments in years. Back in the summer of 2018, Usain Bolt's 'Rest of the World' side featuring the likes of Robert Pires, Eric Cantona and Michael Essien suffered at the hands of an unlikely source.

Blake Harrison, who is fondly remembered for playing Neil Sutherland on the hit TV show 'The Inbetweeners', netted the winning penalty in front of over 70,000 fans at Old Trafford but in terms of pure entertainment, a priceless moment before kick-off grabbed the headlines.

Wait for it... OH NEIL!

As the camera walked past former Manchester City striker Darius Vassell, England cricket legend Freddie Flintoff and former Crawley Town full-back Mark Wright, the joker of the group, Harrison, couldn't help but pull a funny face as millions laughed at home.

A couple of hours later, Blake did this in a penalty shootout to send England fans into a frenzy. What a night.

As will be the case on Saturday night, when Soccer Aid kicks off at the Etihad Stadium, a capacity Old Trafford was littered with former players, including Jamie Carragher, Michael Owen, Robbie Keane and John Terry, to name just a few.

Ollie Murs, meanwhile, captained the England side and created the opening goal in sublime fashion. He knocked a delightful ball through to Darren Bent, who netted England's first goal of the night after dummying former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar.

Will you be watching at home on Saturday night? What are your favourite Soccer Aid memories?
