Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Alexis Sanchez's move to Manchester United will 'likely' happen in the next 24 hours.
The Arsenal manager also revealed that Henrikh Mkhitaryan wages are 'not a problem.', but he couldn't resist aiming a sly dig at Pep Guardiola's Manchester City during an eventful press conference on Thursday morning.
What could have been at Arsenal...
"I do not want to comment on the numbers they offer to Sanchez. I respect United because they raise the money they pay to players with their own resources." Wenger said, presumably aiming a dig at Manchester City's oil money.

"It's up to them how much they pay. United is a club very well managed financially so I don't have a problem."
Wenger also revealed that he has worked on transfers 'for 30 years', but says these transfers are never 'guaranteed':
"The deal can happen or it cannot happen. If it doesn't happen he [Sánchez] could play on Saturday. I've worked on transfers for 30 years, it's likely to happen but these things are never guaranteed." he said.
As you can imagine, Wenger's comments about Sanchez's incoming transfer sparked a huge reaction on social media.
