Lionel Messi will go down as one of the greatest and in the past, people have gone above and beyond to get a glimpse of the five-time Balon d'Or winner, but a latest craze involving the Barcelona forward is just a bit too weird, for my liking.

It has recently emerged that a hairdresser in Serbia is clipping Messi into people's heads ahead of the World Cup.

According to the man who creates these bizarre portraits, they will set you back a hefty 150 euros.

Mario Hvala also claims that it takes around five to seven hours to complete, as he stencils both Messi and Ronaldo into actual hair.

Sorry, I still can't get over the fact that people spend hundreds to get the following:

Hvala has spoken about the popular styles, and said it all began when he did a portrait of Cristiano Ronaldo.

"The portraits are the most complex when doing the 'hair tattoos'," Hvala told AFP.

"It takes five to seven hours. When I made Cristiano Ronaldo's portrait I got many positive comments and people were amazed," he said.

Which one of your mates would spend 150 euros to get the above haircut?

Let us know in the comments.
