A Rangers supporter went out for a few drinks in Leipzig last night and ended up being reported missing in the national newspapers - but he can't understand why.
Sam Mathers travelled to the German city yesterday ahead of his team's friendly against Red Bull Leipzig on Sunday.
A post then appeared on the Facebook page of Rangers supporters club Brothers in Blue RSC today saying that his dad had reported him missing after he went out for a few drinks and never returned. They even missed their train to Berlin today because of that. Note that the Facebook page has now updated their initial post:

As you can tell, Sam showed up shortly after - but not before thousands of Rangers fans put out the call for him to be found and even dailyrecord.co.uk reported on it.
As word got back to fans in Scotland, Sam also took to his own Twitter to tell everyone he was safe - in his own hilarious way:

We're not sure Sam quite realises how many worried Rangers fans came to the aid of his family to help find him.
