A punter barely missed out on a $230k 14-fold accumulator after PSG came back from the dead to beat Atalanta 2-1 in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.

PSG were able to fight off the edge of elimination to beat Atalanta 2-1 in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.

It looked as if the Ligue 1 champions had blown it in the first half, going 1-0 down to the competition outsiders when Mario Pašalić beautifully curled the ball past Keylor Navas.

Atalanta's 26th-minute lead was held all the way up to the 90th minute when something magical happened. Marquinhos was able to tap in the equaliser in the 90th minute and then Eric Choupo-Moting finished the game off in the 93rd minute.

The game finished Atalanta's incredible run in the Champions League, and it also ended a very unlucky punter's bet.

The person in question had created a 14-fold accumulator and had already got 12 right. With Atalanta set to win, the punter will have been waiting for the insane amount of money to enter his bank account, only to see it washed away by the former Stoke City striker.

The punter had bet on every game in the Europa League as well as the Champions League and was only waiting on the game in question, as well as the RB Leipzig-Atletico Madrid game.

The $25 bet though ultimately didn't come through and the punter in question can thank Choupo-Moting for the upsetting loss to his accumulator.

What do you think of the bet?
