Incredible stuff...

Just when you thought you'd seen everything in the wonderful world of Non-League football, a ball boy is sent off for doing the 'wanker' sign to the opposition supporters.

The youngster was given his marching orders during the game between Chelmsford City and Wealdstone in the National League South last night.

Chelmsford, who were at home, won the game 3-0. But after getting some grief from a visiting player and supporters, the ball boy cheekily resorted to aiming a hand gesture at them and was given his marching orders by the referee as a result.

Some of the tweets on the incident are just incredible:

Absolute nutters them ball boys, aren't they?!

Last month, a ball boy at Bournemouth became a viral sensation during the home game against Spurs at the Vitality Stadium.

Around 20 minutes into the game, with the Cherries 1-0 up through Junior Stanislas, Sky Sports' cameras picked up an altercation between him and Spurs centre-back Jan Vertonghen.

To begin with, the lad, who has an identical twin who is also a ball boy, outright refused to give the Belgian the ball back and then threw it at his legs, with the linesman giving him a telling off for his antics.

Referee Mike Dean was also seen having a conversation with fourth official Mike Jones and it was not long before the ball boy was given a lecture from a nearby steward.

These ball boys are a different breed!
