Paul Pogba's Hilarious Response To Oblivious Parents Viral Thread
So, hopefully you've seen this fantastic Twitter thread about a family's encounter with Manchester United's Paul Pogba. FIFA esport commentator Nate Patrick described what went down between his parents and some noisy Uno players.
The rowdy group recognised that their (what can only be described as) hardcore Uno Action may be disturbing other passengers.
As a token of apology, two of the young men came over to Nate's parents and offered to take a picture. Nate's dad obliged, thinking one of the polite train "hooligans" were asking if he and his wife would like a picture.
As a token of apology, two of the young men came over to Nate's parents and offered to take a picture. Nate's dad obliged, thinking one of the polite train "hooligans" were asking if he and his wife would like a picture. In fact, one of the men asked if they'd like a picture WITH them.
The oblivious mum and dad were shocked at the apparent arrogance. And only until their football fanatical son pointed out, they were actually with two world famous footballers: Nemanja Matic and World Cup winner Paul Pogba.
His unaware parents even proceeded to show the two Premier League players a picture of a random dog they found on their travels .Could this story get any better? Well, the superstar French midfielder has responded - and it's hilarious.
Man I need to see the dog :dog: Say hi to your lovely folks for me!- Paul Pogba (@paulpogba) January 23, 2019
But that's not all, Pogba and Matic's club have made a kind gesture to Nate and his family with an invite to watch the Reds train in Australia next pre-season - as well as some free tickets to United's game against Perth Glory.
Hi, @N8NathanPatrick - Manchester United (@ManUtd) January 23, 2019
From train to training - how about coming to see us at work in :flag_au: this summer on #MUTOUR?
We also have free tickets for you and your parents to see us face @PerthGloryFC, too.:tickets:️ https://t.co/vFh3eBkYzm
Finally, Pogba's furry wishes were eventually answered to conclude wonderful football story.
Hi Paul,- Nate Patrick (@N8NathanPatrick) January 23, 2019
This is Miro. He is a Spanish Water Dog, and it is ridiculous that we are having this conversation.
Thank you for ensuring that my parents got a photo with you.
It's going up on the fridge.
You are now certainly known by my parents, as a footballer, and gentleman. pic.twitter.com/pwIJ9Dt4As
Who knows? Maybe the innocent parents will be supporting football and Manchester United for years to come. What's the craziest sporting encounter you've experienced? Let us know in the comments.
