Fans couldn't resist having a bit of fun with Joey Barton after he misspelled Seve Ballesteros' name while tweeting about Sergio Garcia's Masters win.
The Spanish golfer last night won his first major since turning professional in 1999 as he beat Justin Rose in a playoff hole at the Masters.
It was a particularly emotional moment for Garcia given his long wait for a major and it falling on the day golfing great Seve would have turned 60.

There was an outpouring of delight on social media after the result was confirmed at Augusta, with plenty congratulating Garcia on his achievement
Barton was one of those, but he made a spelling mistake on Ballesteros' name and, despite the good intentions of the tweet, fans still couldn't resist poking some fun at him:
