Thierry Henry Gives Monaco Star The Coldest Stare After Not Tucking His Chair In

Benoît Badiashile is going to be having nightmares about Monaco manager Thierry Henry after this Champions League press conference.

Thierry Henry's plans for building Monaco back into a football powerhouse have not lifted off at the moment, especially as the Frenchman faces no easy task with life at the club.

However, the 41-year-old Arsenal legend is starting off by making sure that all of his players understand the importance of discipline in his team.

The former Belgium assistant coach had Benoît Badiashile with him during a press conference ahead of the French club's Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund.

When the briefing was all done and dusted, the two were getting ready to leave and the Monaco star forgot to tuck in his chair.

Henry, who was appointed as manager in October after the sacking of Leonardo Jardim, had one of the coldest death stares for the 17-year-old defender.

It's not surprising that the Monaco boss waited for Badiashile to scurry back to the table, tuck his chair in and then walked off the stage.

Wow. If looks could kill, then Henry has perfected that as an art form. It's hard not to say that he has a demeanour that most secondary school teachers wish they could have when they're dealing with a bunch of teenagers.

Or maybe he's been watching a bit too much of Samuel L Jackson in Coach Carter.

Henry faces an uphill task with Monaco in Ligue 1, with his side sitting in 19th place after 16 matches.

Monaco have already been knocked out of the Champions League and are at the bottom of Group A with one point.

For Henry at least, their match with the current Bundesliga leaders would be a positive momentum boost if they could pick up three points at the Stade Louis II.

The former Juventus and Barcelona star has already shifted his focus to saving Monaco from relegation, with Henry already targeting a Premier League striker as his first signing.

Can Henry save Monaco from relegation?
