Michy Batshuayi Sends Message To EA Sports, Minutes After Full-Time Whistle

Michy Batshuayi Sends Message To EA Sports, Minutes After Full-Time Whistle

Classic, Michy!

Michy Batshuayi is in no doubt that he's deserving of a FIFA 18 FUT Team of the Week place.

The Belgian striker was benched for Chelsea's early English Premier League clash with Watford - Antonio Conte preferring to start Alvaro Morata for the game.

But Batshuayi was needed off the bench, replacing his Spanish teammate on the hour mark at Stamford Bridge with the home side trailing 2-1 to Watford.

He needed just 10 minutes to get Chelsea's equaliser before firing home in injury time, adding to Cesar Azpilicueta's goal to put the hosts into the lead.

And Batshuayi was quick to take to Twitter to call out EA - not for the first time, of course:

So now it's over to EA to decide whether or not Batshuayi is deserving of an IF card in the FUT Team of the Week to come.

He's called out EA before, most notably at the end of last month after seeing his FIFA 18 player rating.

EA Sports soon replied, saying: "Keep scoring goals and we'll talk..."

But Michy had the last word with a brilliant response: "Hahaha fair point but I've been doing this for quite a long time now... even longer than the last time your servers were OK."

Given the reaction to the above tweet, we reckon EA might cave and include an upgraded Batshuayi once Wednesday's team is revealed.

Stay tuned.
