They may be fellow England legends and best mates on Match Of The Day, but that didn't stop Gary Lineker trolling Alan Shearer during Hungary's 2-0 victory over Austria, this afternoon.
The only problem for Lineker was that the former Newcastle captain, much like he did in front of goal, takes absolutely no prisoners on social media.
Lineker tweeted about Shearer's resemblance to Hungary's 40-year-old trackie bottom enthusiast, Gabor Kiraly, to which Shearer responded with a typically ruthless reply.
It'll be interesting to see if the exchange is mentioned on air between the pair. We can't imagine Lineker will be able to resist another sly dig, even if he did lose the first leg to the Newcastle legend.
