Former Manchester United winger Nani now has a physique that would give his old teammate Cristiano Ronaldo a run for his money.

The former Sporting CP man was once a tad slender and scrawny back in the day but now 33 and plying his trade with Orlando City, he has undergone a serious body transformation in recent times.

Nani took to Instagram to post a shirtless picture of him standing on a rock and enjoying a day off.

Straight away eyes were drawn to his ripped frame. His shoulders and arms look absolutely huge and then if that's not enough, he also has abs for days.

The comment from ex Portugal colleague Yannick Djalo summed it up perfectly when he wrote the following: "Pooowwww! The man with the most muscle since he was a kid and with the most abs in the world."

Compare it to a picture of Nani when he signed for United 13 years ago and the contrast is just remarkable.

There are a whole lot of stories of how Ronaldo was always in the gym striving for improvement and it would appear as though Nani has adopted that same mentality.

Clearly he's been hitting the weights and getting the set-ups in ahead of the return of the MLS season on July 8. The former Lazio and Fenerbahce player looks in fine shape as he gears up for MLS action at Disney World in Orlando.

Nani might be joined by another physical specimen across the pond in the future after he revealed Ronaldo told him he would likely finish his career in the United States.

He told ESPN: "A couple of years ago, he told me that he will probably end up in America. It's not 100 percent but probably. There is a chance."
