Despite winning the FA Cup, ex-Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal was sacked as a result of his league positioning. Missing out on the top four cost him his job at Old Trafford.
Though fear not, as the Dutchman is reportedly in talks for a Bundesliga return. German outlet Hamburger Abendblatt are reporting that he's been in dialogue with the vacancy at Werder Bremen.
Bremen are currently without a gaffer after they sacked Viktor Skrypnyk while they're rooted to the bottom of the league losing their first four games.
