Phil Foden dropped an incredible performance during Manchester City's 2-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

City emerged winners thanks to a 90th minute winner from Foden and he was a threat all game.

The 20-year-old glided through Dortmund's defence all game and could've bagged a hatful with more clinical finishing.

But with the scores 1-1 heading into the 90th minute, he managed to find his shooting boots and slot past Marwin Hitz with a cool effort.

It means Foden now has 12 goals and nine assists for Pep Guardiola's side this season and it's been a true coming of age campaign.

Fans have reacted to his performance and they think Foden is already on his way to being one of the world's best midfielders.

City opened the scoring inside 19 minutes after capitalising on an Emre Can mistake. Kevin De Bruyne smashed past Hitz and it was a deserved lead for the home side.

Just before half-time, Jude Bellingham thought he had the perfect chance to equalise after dispossessing Ederson.

The City goalkeeper lost control the ball just outside his area and Bellingham nicked it away from him.

However, the referee judged Bellingham to have fouled Ederson in the build-up and booked the 17-year-old.

Dortmund would get their equaliser in the 84th minute after Marco Reus finished a flowing move involving Bellingham and Erling Haaland.

Foden popped up late on, assisted by De Bruyne, to snatch a late victory ahead of next week's second leg out in Germany.
