A South American football team has paid respect to a former teammate in the most perfect way.
Right before his funeral, the group paid their respect to their deceased friend by putting his coffin next to the goal, allowing him to 'score' the final goal.
The video is made all the more powerful, as, when the goal goes in, the friends all jump on the coffin, some of them in floods of tears.
It was an incredible moment, and the accompanying video has done the rounds on social media.

This is similar to a story of supporters of a Colombian football team, who carried their deceased friend from the funeral home - a 17-year-old Christopher Jacome - and carried his body to the match.
The police were reportedly baffled how the coffin made it through security, but the likelihood is that the club turned a blind eye.
