Mohamad Salah has ditched his afro for a brand new look and fans aren't sure how to react to it.

The Liverpool winger has rocked longer hair since he returned to the Premier League in 2017 and it has become a key part of his image.

However, the Egyptian international took to Instagram on Wednesday evening to give fans a look at his change in style.

The 28-year-old has opted to have his back and sides shaved with his hair on top now pushed up.

Fans have reacted to Salah's transformation and they're not ready for the change.

The Anfield faithful will be hoping Salah's hair wasn't the source of his powers after another fine season.

He scored 23 goals in all competitions this campaign as Liverpool romped to their first ever Premier League title.

Despite the title win, Salah has had an emotional end to the season after waving goodbye to close friend Dejan Lovren.

It was confirmed earlier this week that Lovren has joined Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg on a permanent deal.

Salah paid tribute to his friend after the announcement and spoke about their friendship on and off the pitch.

"I don't know how to say, my friend. You don't know my feeling right now. We're really going to miss you a lot - especially me," Salah told Liverpool's official website.

"You've been an unbelievable player and a great friend for me. We're going to miss you a lot. I miss you a lot, I love you so much. You've been fantastic outside the field and inside the field.

"So, thank you for everything you did for the club, thank you for everything you did for me. I wish you all the best in the future and I wish you to have a great career as well, enjoying the new club with your family.

"Thank you very much and see you soon."
